Squashing inequality: Creating opportunities on and off the court

In the United States, there are few public squash courts. The sport is traditionally the preserve of a select few who play at country clubs and boarding schools.

Growing up in the Bronx, Katiria Sanchez had never even heard of squash until a representative from CitySquash, a squash programme for urban youth, invited her to try out.

Now she is playing squash in college, and she tells the BBC the sport has opened up many doors for her and others.
