Photographer collects glossary of British landscape
Zawn, sunwheel, shiver, tolmen.
Just a few words you may never have heard of, that describe landforms in the British landscape.
Photographer Dominick Tyler is putting together an ever-expanding glossary of these terms, collating hundreds of words that describe features in the countryside. He hopes eventually to collect 1,000.
The public are being invited to contribute to the Landreader, external project. Dominick is also taking photos that will be published in a book.
