The day my local pub was bombed

Forty years ago bombs exploded in two pubs in Birmingham, killing 21 people.

The attack on 21 November 1974 was blamed on the The Irish Republican Army. No-one has ever been convicted.

Les Robinson was in one of the bars when the bombs exploded.

Witness is a World Service programme of the stories of our times told by the people who were there.
