The people in Iran pushed to change their gender

Iran is one of a handful of countries where homosexual acts are punishable by death. Clerics do, however accept the idea that a person may be trapped in a body of the wrong sex. So homosexuals can be pushed into undergoing gender reassignment.

Marie grew up as a boy confused about her sexuality, but was declared by an Iranian doctor to be 98% female. He persuaded her to have gender reassignment surgery - but now she doubts whether it was the right thing to do.
