#BBCtrending: The 'Eid Pray Love' movement

Even though Ramadan is still more than two months away, some Muslims are already fasting - as an act of social media solidarity.

There's increased tension after incidents like the attacks on Charlie Hebdo's offices in Paris. Using the hashtag #Muslims4Lent, external, Muslims are posting pictures online showing what they are giving up until Easter, when traditional Christian Lent ends. Many are organising under the banner of a group called "Eid Pray Love" which says it is an "initiative with the goal of uniting Muslims and changing our perception through positive social, and interfaith action."
