Pop art's scandalous history

Think of Pop Art, and Andy Warhol's multi-coloured poster images of Marilyn Monroe probably spring to mind. In the 1960s and 1970s such artists were exploring notions of celebrity and sex to produce work that was bold, brash and subversive. But it was also a global movement as a new exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art makes clear. And as Jane O'Brien reports some of the images are still attracting controversy.
