Food blogger offers cure for Lebanon's apple crisis
Lebanese apple farmers have been in crisis. Before the war in Syria, the country was a major export market for Lebanese fruit, as well as serving as a transport route to other markets in the region.
Travelling through Syria has become increasingly dangerous, which has pushed up export costs, leaving apples to rot in Lebanon. Food blogger, Anthony Rahayel, turned to social media to offer the nation a cure to the crisis.
