Lady Gaga: I was addicted to marijuana

Lady Gaga has admitted that she was addicted to marijuana.

In an interview with American radio host Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show, the singer said she had been addicted to "various things" growing up and more so in the last seven years.

Gaga, 27, added that she would never be drunk or high on stage.

She says "it's a battle every day" and that the addiction was "ultimately related to anxiety coping and it's a form of self medication".
