Former self-harmer gives advice on how to deal with it

Twenty-two-year-old Stacy Hawkins says she started to struggle with mental health problems when she moved to Cornwall with her parents aged 15.

She was bullied at school, didn't fit in and as a result left school without any A to C grade GCSEs.

At 17 she left home and that's when she says her self-harming got worse with her cutting and burning herself to tackle what she describes as her "anger at the world".

Several years later though she says she's is in a much better place, going back to college and, through her work with charity The Prince's Trust, is helping other people going through similar things she went through.

She gives her advice and thoughts about how they can find the help they need to get better.
