Spotify boss on artist rejection
The founder of Spotify has told Newsbeat that it ''doesn't make sense'' for artists to withhold putting their music onto streaming sites.
Daniel Ek says streaming is now a part of the music business.
He added that artists increase their fan base with streaming services and fans are more likely to buy an album or go to a concert as a result.
Daniel Ek was speaking to Newsbeat's entertainment reporter Chi Chi Izundu at Spotify's main office in Stockholm.
