Spotify head says "streaming is new reality"

The founder and CEO of Spotify has said streaming is the "reality" for how music is being consumed in the UK.

Daniel Ek says that it makes for a more accurate official chart.

His comments come as the Official Charts Company announces the date of the first chart rundown which will include stream counts.

Daniel was speaking to Newsbeat's entertainment reporter Chi Chi Izundu at Spotify's main office in Stockholm.
