Plan B: I don't want to be a poster boy

Plan B has said that he doesn't want to be a political poster boy for helping young people because it would be "the kiss of death for what I'm trying to achieve".

The rapper was speaking at the launch of somewhereto_, external, a lottery funded project which aims to help young people find free spaces in their community.

He is a mentor for the initiative along with his own project One Each One Teach, external which also helps young people.

He told Natalie Jamieson that politics is "all a show" and the only way he can help young people not end up in a life of crime is if he "makes things happen".
