Introducing... Leo Stannard

This September, while the rest of his friends are heading to uni, 18-year-old Leo Stannard is heading out on a European tour.

The Leicester-born singer-songwriter says he was worried about "being stuck" in his home town before he was spotted by his manager on YouTube.

Since then he's gone on to perform around the UK and has had his track Why Don't We played across the BBC.

Newsbeat caught up with Leo at the Crumblin Cookie in Leicester where he played some of his early shows to hear some of his upcoming material and to find out what's next.
