Russell Brand actually sings Parklife

After being mocked for sounding like Phil Daniels on Blur's 1994 single Parklife, Russell Brand has gone and recorded his own version.

A tweet by someone who pointed out the similarity between the two went viral and people started recording parodies and mashups.

Cut in with shots from the original version, Brand's version shows him sitting on a vintage car, although not quite the Ford Granada Coupe that Blur used.

He sings: "Verbal dexterity versus estuary accent is what leads to parody of... Parklife."
