Sam Smith: I'd love to sing the James Bond Spectre theme

The 24th James Bond movie will be called Spectre.

Daniel Craig is returning as 007 for a fourth time but it's rumoured it could be his last appearance in the role.

With the mystery over the name revealed - the big question now - who will record the theme song?

Sam Smith seems to be the name on top of everyone's list.

Ahead of a full-length interview with Zane Lowe, which will be broadcast on Radio 1 on 9 December, Newsbeat has been given an exclusive clip which sees him discussing his possible involvement with the film.

Sam Smith: The Sound of 2014 will be available on BBC iPlayer at 08:00 GMT on Tuesday 9 December and will air on Radio 1 at 21:00 GMT on the same day.
