Russian telescope's 133 unusual eyes on the sky

Russia's unusual Tunka-133 telescope is a structure of 133 large metal canisters, scattered over a massive, flat field in the Republic of Buryatia.

Its purpose is to study the cosmic ray energy spectrum to find out more about the Universe.

Russian scientist Oleg Gress talks about his work operating the telescope's multiple lenses - and living a life of science in such a remote area.
