Earth's deepest seabed reached by James Cameron
The Hollywood film director James Cameron has become the first person in 50 years to reach the deepest seabed in the world, at the Mariana trench.
In a one-man submarine, Deepsea Challenger, he journeyed 11km (seven miles) down.
The BBC's Rebecca Morelle reports from Guam, the nearest land mass to the Mariana trench.
