The science behind the badger cull

An eight year trial carried out in the 1990s concluded that culling badgers would help tackle tuberculosis infection in cattle.

But the study showed it would only have a slight impact on the spread of bovine TB and now a scientist behind it says England's pilot cull is a "crazy scheme".
