A personal DNA test that has sparked controversy in the US has been launched in the UK.
The UK's Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency says the 23andMe spit test, which is designed to give details about a person's health risks based on their DNA, can be used with caution.
The chief executive of 23andMe, Anne Wojcicki, spoke to the BBC about the difficulties the company has had getting its service approved by American regulators.
