New look for Natural History Museum

The front grounds of London's Natural History Museum are to undergo a multi-million-pound redevelopment, which will also include a new position for "Dippy the Diplodocus".

The landscaping will reflect the science themes of the institution. And as part of the changes, access to the building will be improved, hopefully cutting down on those days during the year when visitors have to queue to get in.

Dr Sandy Knapp, a botanist and lead scientific advisor from the museum, and Justin Morris, its director of public engagement, discussed the redevelopment with our science correspondent Jonathan Amos.
