Tim Peake experiences huge g-forces in a centrifuge

On 15 December, Tim Peake will launch into space to become Britain's first astronaut on board the International Space Station.

For the past two years, Tim has been filming video diaries for the BBC's Horizon programme, showing the risks, pressures and rigours of training.

This clip shows the moment he got a taste of the huge gravitational forces he will face during his launch and re-entry.
