Europa a 'prime target' in search for alien life

Prof Andrew Coates, from the Mullard Space Science Laboratory in Surrey, says that Europa is one of the best places to look for life elsewhere in the Solar System.

One of the big reasons is the deep salt-water ocean beneath Europa's outer ice shell.

But Prof Coates adds that Mars and Saturn's icy moon Enceladus are also potential targets in the search for alien life.
