Google Android 3.0 on tablets at Mobile World Congress

Google's head of mobile development, Hugo Barra, says the company's operating system, Android, is ready for a new generation of tablets.

Version 3.0 is on display on tablets at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The mobile phone operating system has been adapted for tablets.

However, it faces stiff competition from Apple's iPad.

Mr Barra told Rory Cellan-Jones that he expects Android to be used on a new wave of tablets.
