Mobile phones, texting and social media have become an integral part of our everyday lives, keeping us connected and entertained.
But research has found one in three of us have felt "overwhelmed" by this new technology.
Researchers from Cambridge University also found, perhaps surprisingly, that children still prefer to communicate face to face.
