Eyal Gever: Israeli 3D artist turns disaster into art

Israeli artist Eyal Gever has gained international recognition for his sculptures, which capture snapshots of disasters.

A computer programmer as well as an artist by training, he simulates disaster scenarios as realistically as possible on his computer, then gives them physical form using 3D printers.

He offered the BBC a tour of his studio in Tel Aviv, explaining his work method, and what attracts him to it.
