Japanese scientists develop robots to help Fukushima clean-up

Japanese scientists have unveiled some of the latest advancements in robotic technologies which they hope will help clean up the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant, damaged in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

On display is a robotic exoskeleton - originally developed to assist Japan's fast-growing elderly population - which allows its wearer to lift weights of up to 60kg.
