Google Glass: For and against

Software engineers working on applications for the eagerly anticipated smart headset Google Glass have gathered in San Francisco for the company's annual I/O conference.

Although the wearable computing device is still some way off being available to consumers, developers have been trying it out for several weeks.

Some campaign groups are wary of the implications that the Glass and similar devices will have on privacy.

BBC News asked people from both sides of the argument for their views on the new technology.
