3D specs focus on futuristic vision
A Silicon Valley start-up is developing a pair of augmented reality glasses which give users the ability to manipulate digital objects in 3D space.
It is a concept seen in films like Minority Report and Iron Man, where the protagonists gesture their way around holograms in the world around them.
The company behind the specs, Meta, believes its "more intuitive" technology will change the face of computing by the end of the decade.
It is also working with software developers to help find other "killer" apps.
The BBC's North America technology correspondent Richard Taylor tried on the new glasses to see if he was getting a glimpse into a 3D future.
