Samsung shows off Galaxy Gear watch

Samsung Electronics chief JK Shin has unveiled the Galaxy Gear, the firm's long-rumoured smartwatch.

Industry analysts believe wearable technology, particularly watches, will be a major new line of products for electronics firms.

Apple is also said to be planning its own smartwatch product, but no details have yet been announced.
