Motion sensors adapt to your desires

Most wearable technology tends to be used for specific purposes - like measuring your sleep patterns or calorie burn.

But one start-up, external is developing a capsule-sized device which can be easily programmed by its users.

The "kiwi move" contains motion sensors which can be customised by users to carry out a wide variety of tasks - from baby monitoring to securing valuables.

The BBC's North America technology correspondent Richard Taylor caught up with its founder to see it in action.
