CES 2014: Sony explains its smartwear vision

Sony has unveiled "life logging" software that charts a person's activities on an interactive timeline.

It records when a user speaks to a friend, receives an email, watches a movie and other smartphone actions.

In addition the Android app receives data from a new, small piece of wearable hardware called the Smart Core that acts as an activity tracker.

Sony Executive Vice President Kunimasa Suzuki presented the product at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show.
