Prototype headset 'you can watch TV on'
A headset that projects images on to the retina hits its funding target only hours after debuting on the Kickstarter site.
The BBC's North America technology correspondent Richard Taylor met Edward Tang, chief executive of Avegant.
He tries on the company's Glyph headset, which bounces pictures into the eyes of users using two million tiny mirrors in a narrow reflective band.
The headset is designed for films, TV and video games, but can also be used to listen to audio.
