Digital pianos and keyboards have existed for many years, but technological limitations meant they often struggled to reproduce the sounds of the real instrument.

BBC Click meets the founder of audio software company Synthogy, Joe Ierardi, who explains the difficulties of creating a digital piano which sounds like its analogue counterpart.
