Part of world's biggest turret sets sail from Dubai

The largest piece of a structure set to become the world's biggest turret has set sail from Dubai.

The turret is currently in six pieces, but when fully-assembled will stand almost 100m (328ft) tall - as high as the Statue of Liberty - and weigh 10,500 tonnes.

It will eventually be used to anchor Shell's Prelude, a 600,000 tonne floating facility to liquefy natural gas off Australia's coast.

It took over six hours to move the turret piece onto a barge for its three-week journey to South Korea, where Prelude is being assembled.
