New Nook e-reader due for launch

On Wednesday in New York Samsung and Barnes & Noble will launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK - basically the Nook e-reader on a Samsung tablet.

It is the first co-branded device the companies will offer to customers.

But what does that mean for the future of the Nook - the e-reader that's ended up as an also-ran to Amazon's all-conquering Kindle?
