Touch screen in 3D: Microsoft shows off holograph project

Microsoft's holograph project is aimed at visualising information on a screen which feels genuinely three-dimensional.

Using a touch screen display and 3D glasses, users would be able to analyse data by looking at images which appear to hover above the glass, or sink beneath it.

The BBC's North America Technology Correspondent Richard Taylor was given a demonstration by the project lead, David Brown.
