Virtual reality is at 'year zero'

With the popularity of the Oculus Rift headset and the forthcoming release of Samsung's Gear VR, many are predicting a new dawn for virtual reality.

Oscar-winning company Framestore has worked on several virtual experiences over the past 18 months and has even opened its own studio dedicated to making immersive content.

Its most recent work was shown off at the BFI Imax in London and allowed participants to experience simulated weightlessness as part of an experience to promote the film Interstellar.

BBC Click spoke to Mike Woods of Framestore's VR department about what the future holds for virtual reality.
