New gaming centre 'about cultural confidence'
The UK is to open the first cultural centre in the world for gaming, which will be based in Nottingham.
Iain Simons, director of GameCity, told the Today programme that the project was "about video games gaining in cultural confidence".
The centre, which is set to launch in March 2015, will not only showcase the history of video games but also provide workshops to show the process of game making.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Wednesday 29 October.
