Artificial Intelligence: BBC presenter talks to Cleverbot

BBC News presenter Philippa Thomas had a conversation with the artificial intelligence system Cleverbot, and its creator Rollo Carpenter.

Cleverbot does not speak, it communicates through text, but it appears to think for itself and even has a sense of humour.

Prof Stephen Hawking has said that AI could spell the end of the human race, but the inventor of Cleverbot disagrees.
