Ten years ago Jawed Karim uploaded the very first video to YouTube, external.

Titled 'me at the zoo' it lasts only 18 seconds and involves the YouTube co-founder standing in front of elephants at the zoo.

Today, 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute
