How would you cope with sharing your living space with a small army of robots?

A professor from Hertfordshire University has set out to answer the question by filling a sensor-equipped home with a host of automatons.

They range from a machine designed to interact with children with autism to a droid that plays football.

The BBC's Zoe Kleinman was invited to spend the night.
