The camera that can reconstruct sound from another room

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab have been experimenting with a technique that can reconstruct sound from silent video recordings.

Using powerful high-speed cameras and software it is possible to rebuild sound from objects in a different room.

BBC Click's LJ Rich attended a demonstration of the technology and spoke with one of those behind the project.
