Exoskeleton 'helps people lift heavy objects'
Hal (hybrid assistive limb) is the world's first robotic exoskeleton that is controlled by the wearer's own brainwaves.
It is being developed by Japan's Cyberdyne Sytems, led by Professor Yoshiyuki Sankai.
The BBC's Rupert Wingfield-Hayes tried out a component designed to help the wearer lift heavy objects.
