Internationally renowned acrobatic troupe Cirque du Soleil is redesigning its stage shows for the virtual world.

The company is experimenting with the format to optimise its entertainment experience for a small screen.

It is looking to a future of customised story-telling content for virtual reality which would be completely different from its traditional live performances.
