Taking a ride in a $1.5m drone-like submarine

A battery powered submarine with drone-like qualities has been developed.

The Dragon has four thrusters built into its hull, can cruise underwater for six hours and is able reach depths of 120m (400ft).

"Anybody can take it safely down and fly," says the the craft's creator Graham Hawkes, adding that there is no need for a professional pilot.
