Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe's deadly trail

A High Court judge has ruled that Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper, must spend the rest of his life in prison or a high security psychiatric hospital.

Sutcliffe, now known as Peter Coonan, is one of the most notorious serial killers in history and his six year killing spree brought fear to many areas of northern England.

He murdered at least thirteen women and attempted to murder seven more.
