Sarah's Law to be expanded

Sarah's Law - which allows parents to check if someone who has unsupervised access to their children has a history of child sex offences - is to be extended.

The Child Sex Offender Disclosure Scheme has been tried out over the past two years in four parts of the country.

The scheme will be rolled out in stages, and will be operational across England and Wales by the end of 2011.

Andy Tighe reports.
