Pakistan flooding television appeal launched by DEC
British charities have launched a radio and TV campaign to raise funds for victims of the devastating floods in north-western Pakistan.
The appeal from the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) is fronted by journalist and former British hostage in Lebanon, John McCarthy.
The UN says three million people have been affected by the floods, with at least 1,500 killed.
People can also donate by post, text message, at the Post Office and through banks.
