Falcons 'victims of human greed'
A 48-year-old man has admitted attempting to smuggle rare bird eggs out of Britain.
Jeffrey Lendrum pleaded guilty at Warwick Crown Court to taking 14 eggs of a wild bird from a nest in south Wales.
He was caught trying to take the peregrine falcon eggs through Birmingham Airport to take a flight to Dubai.
Guy Shorrock from the RSPB told the BBC's Claire Marshall the birds were ''victims of human greed'' and Lendrum stood to make ''tens of thousands of pounds'' from his crimes.
