Overseas students say UK is 'great'

Net migration to the UK rose last year to 196,000, up by 33,000 from the number in 2008, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics.

The number of visas issued to students also went up by 35% to 362,015.

Students Yun William Yu and Herman Tam have described their experiences in applying to come to London's Imperial College.

They say the UK's academic excellence and its diverse student life were a major attraction.
